We have processed a lot of orders and have seen many get delayed because of one thing or another.  Please follow these steps carefully to help insure that your order gets to you as quickly and efficiently as possible.

  • • Name
    • • Please do not use any special characters in the name fields.  This includescharacters like:  @ # . , ; : /
    • • If you are trying to put a business in care of, please abbreviate the business name and use "co" instead of "c/o"
    • • Please enter a First Name and Last Name.
  • • Shipping Address
    • • This is the #1 reason why orders get lost.  We use the US Postal website tovalidate address issues.  http://zip4.usps.com/zip4/welcome.jsp
    • • Do not use special characters between the number and street addreses i.e.123.Main.St
    • • Enter a street and city name
    • • Double check your state and zip
    • • We recommend you use a shipping address where someone is present to accept the order.  Many customers ship to their work address.
  • • Phone Number
    • • Please provide us a valid phone number.  This is for the shipping carrier to use if there is an issue with the delivery.  You can leave off the special characters like ( ) - .
  • • Billing Address
    • • This is the #1 reason why orders get put on hold.  Please enter the correct billing address for the credit card used. 
    • • In order to protect our customers from credit card fraud, we verify billing information with your credit card company BEFORE processing your order.  We check the street address, zip code, and 3-4 digit code on the back of your card.
    • • Orders with invalid billing addresses are put On Hold and will NOT be processed until this is resolved.
  • • Submitting your order
    • • All orders are final once you submit your order.  
    • • No changes or cancelations can be made after you submit your order.  ALL SALES ARE FINAL.
    • • Please double check your order before checking out and submiting your order.

Size charts are included in various sections of this site .Please measure your pet carefully!! Exchanges are available on SOME items, BUT NOT ALL ITEMS.Barrett’s Boutique reserves the right to deny exchanges or returns based on an a case-by-case basis due to manufacturer stipulations. If an exchange is allowed, the buyer is responsible to pay for shipping both ways, unless the product Is defective. In that case, Barrett’s Boutique will pay for the exact item to be sent back to you, upon receipt of the defective item. If the item is eligible for return, it must be returned for exchange only within 14 days and only if it is still in the Original, Unused, Unworn, NEW condition. Any items eligible for returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee. If you are unsure of an item and its eligibility for return, please email us before ordering. We want you to be happy with your purchase, and there are exceptions, so please do not hesitate to contact us .Sorry, No Refunds!

In order to keep our prices competitive, and to continue to offer our current promotions, please be aware of the following return policies:

  •  Free or Paid Shipping fees are non-refundable on returns! If your order qualifies for free shipping promotions, then actual shipping costs plus handling fees is NOT credited back. For example, if your order total is $100 and free shipping costs us $10.00 and handling costs us another $7.00, we will refund you $83.00. We do NOT profit from your returns!
  • Free Gift promotions. If you received a free gift as part of a promotion, the products are yours to keep and cost of the accessory will be not be credited back to you.
  • Actual shipping charges of unused products back to us is also non-refundable on returns. In other words, you pay for shipping us back the unused portion of the products to us.
  • Return processing is usually performed immediately upon receipt of return products but may take up to a maximum of 4 weeks.
  • Items that are not returned in their original packaging will not be refunded.

Due to health reasons, no returns can be accepted on carriers, beds, strollers, carseats, or toys.   We apologize for the inconvenience.

Refunds (if approved): We issue a credit for the order back to the customer in the form of the originating method of payment. For example, if you used your Mastercard to make a particular purchase on, we will credit that same Mastercard and not another card with a different credit card number. At the time of your return, your credit card numbers may have expired on our systems and we will need to request it again in order to issue you a credit. This must match your expiration date on file.

Return Shipping Costs: Return costs for shipping and handling are non-refundable.


Lost or Stolen Packages: We are not responsible for lost or stolen packages while in transit. We recommend that you track your package and confirm delivery.  If the carrier indicates that your package has been delivered and you have not received your package, please notify the carrier with your tracking number so they can investigate.

We employ the following standard operating procedures. From our experience we would like to provide the clarifications below to better serve your expectations and ensure consistent quality service.

  • Once your order has been submitted, NO changes or cancellations can be made. Please review your order thoroughly to ensure there are no problems.
  • • Orders made before 12pm EST will be processed within 24-72 hours.
  • • Orders made after 12pm EST will be processed within 24-72
    hours of the next business day.
  • • Orders made after 12pm EST on Fridays or holidays will be processed on the following Monday or open business day.
  • • Orders leave the warehouse within 24-72 hours of processing during business days.
  • • Backordered or Out of Stock
    • • Occasionaly popular items are backordered at the warehouse.
    • •  We will post these on our site as we learn about them.  Thank you for your patience.
    • • Unfortunately, we are not informed beforehand about backorders and out of stock. You must wait for the backordered item to ship separately at a later time since it cannot be cancelled nor expedited once the order is sent to the Warehouse.
    • • Backordered items will be shipped via USPS or UPS.
